Meet Dr. Amy Ward (Winter Park, FL)
Amy Ward, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1988. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Pre-Optometry at Miami University of Ohio. Her special fields of interest include scleral lenses and specialty lens fitting.
Dr. Ward likes to say that optometry is in her genetics, as she and her sister are 4th generation optometrists! She enjoys helping her patients see better and live better lives. She also likes being a part of a family’s eyecare throughout their generations.
In her spare time away from the office, Dr. Ward enjoys baking, being outside, and cycling.

Aloma Eye Associates is easily one of the most professional and well-run medical offices I’ve ever... Show More been to. From the moment I walked in, the setup made a great first impression, clean, organized, and efficient without feeling cold or rushed. The front desk greeted me right away and helped with paperwork and questions in a way that felt patient and respectful, not like I was being processed through a system. What really stood out to me was the team. Every single person I interacted with was fantastic, helpful, kind, and genuinely understanding. They didn’t just move me from room to room; they took the time to explain what they were doing, what they were looking for, and what my options were. I never felt talked down to or brushed off, and that’s rare these days. Because of timing and scheduling, I did have to wait about a week to get in, but trust me when I say: you want to wait for them. I would much rather wait a few extra days and know I’m in good hands than be rushed into a place that treats me like a number. Once I was there, I never felt like they were in a hurry to push me out the door. Overall, I left feeling informed, cared for, and confident in the care I received. I highly recommend Aloma Eye Associates to anyone looking for quality eye care with a team that truly treats you like a person, not just a patient
