Dr. Ward is hands down the best Optometrist I’ve ever seen. She cares for our entire family and because of her attention to detail and listening to patients, she discovered my sons challenges with eye convergence. She referred us to an eye therapist and this therapy changed my son’s life - improving coordination, the ability to read, and his focus. I’ve since told other struggling parents to have their child’s eyes checked and come to find out, a child’s struggle to focus is often due to undiagnosed (unnoticed) visual convergence. Having 20/20 vision does not mean you don’t have convergence challenges. Dr. Ward and her staff are attentive and make going to the eye doctor as easy as possible. And Dr. Ward is a safe space to mention any issues…she’ll listen.
